With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Alice Kent Pound (Baldwin, Georgia), who passed away on October 26, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Harvard Pound, Sr.; her parents, John Thomas Kent, Sr. and Alice Victoria Griffith Kent; and her brothers, James Edward Kent, Earl Hutchings Kent and John Thomas Kent, Sr..
She is survived by: her stepson William H. Pound, Jr.; her children, Barbara Batchelor of Macon, Carolyn Lunsford (Ricky) of Madison, Mary Frances Hatchett, Carla Wright of Milledgeville, William Edward Batchelor of Augusta, Curtis Pound and Wendell Pound (Gloria); her stepson David Toler of Milledgeville; and her brothers, Joseph Hopkins Kent (Mary) of Sparta and William Eugene Kent of Milledgeville. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family the family request donations to Breast Cancer, Lupus or to the Sjogren's Syndrome.
