She was predeceased by: her father Ralph McKenley Lewallen; her husband Ernest Simmons; and her brothers, Kenneth Lewallen, Milton Lewallen, Edward Lewallen, Roy Lewallen, Tommy Lewallen and Mark Lewallen.
She is survived by: her son Todd Ernest; her daughter-in-law Cindy Simmons of Baldwin; her grandson Tyler York; and her siblings, Carol Wood, Diane Poole, Nancy Simmons, Delois Poole, Kathy Sheridan, Ralph and Terry Lewallen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
