He was predeceased by: his father Enoch Guy Simpson; and his sister Lisa Simpson Griffith. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Atkinson Simpson Allen; his wife Cherry G Simpson; his children, Magen Simpson Young (Mike) of Madison, Asa Simpson (Lakin) of Cornelia, Mia Simpson of Dahlonega, Maizy Simpson of Dahlonega and Marissa Simpson of Baldwin; his brother Kevin Simpson (Angie) of Cornelia; his stepfather J. T. Allen of Cornelia; and his grandchildren, Maddi, Brayden, Ryder Young and Baby Corbin Simpson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to cover final expenses. A go-fund-me has been set up for those wishing to donate on-line.
