She was predeceased by: her father Henry; her husband Gordon Purdy; her siblings, Hazel Broome Brindel, Marion Broome and Efford Broome; her son Ronnie Purdy; her grandson Ronald Purdy; and her son-in-law Reynolds Fry.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ann Purdy Fry of Clarkesville and Jane Purdy Garrett of Alto; her daughter-in-law Dorla Smith Purdy of Demorest; and her sister Frediva Broome Purdy of Hull. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
