He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Foster, Sr and Mary Cheely Foster; his wife Marjorie Humphries Foster; his son Benny Johnson; his granddaughter Beth Myrick; and his sister Anita Milburn.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeane Johnson of Milledgeville; his grandsons, Jay Davis (Farrar) of Haddock and Brandon Davis of Milledgeville; his great grandchildren, Tristan Davis, Morgan Davis, Kaden Davis and Payton Davis; his sons, John David Mangrum (Natalie) and Jason Mangrum (Katie); his grandsons, Noah Mangrum, Hunter Mangrum, Owen Mangrum and Matthew Mangrum; his brother Tommy Foster (Kathy) of Sparta; and his brother-in-law Jim Milburn of Augusta. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
