He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Grimes Veal; his parents, William Robert Veal and Annie Lou Stapleton Veal; and his siblings, Linda Hardy and Andrew "BoBo" Veal.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Langford (Wayne) of Irwinton, Marcia Beck (Mike) of Gordon and Randy Veal of Atlanta; his brother Jerry Veal of Gordon; his grandchildren, Kyle Swicord Jalen Beck (Emily), Peyton Beck and Michael Langford; and his great grandchildren, Austin Langford, Chance Langford and Tinsley Swicord.
In lieu of flowers the family ask contributions be made to the White Springs Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1349 White Springs Church Rd., Gordon, GA 31031.
