It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Herrington of Baldwin, Georgia, born in Ocilla, Georgia, who passed away on September 8, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Shinholster Royal and Dorothy Josephine Harden Royal; her husband Larry S. Herrington; and her siblings, Dorothy Grimsley, Seaborn Royal, Whitley Royal, Billy Royal and Joe Royal.

She is survived by: her sons, Ryan Herrington (Jennifer) of Perry and James S. "Jim" Herrington of Milledgeville; her grandchild Ryliegh Grace Herrington; and her sisters, Mary Frances Cantrell of Fitzgerald, Katie Royal Arrington and Betty Laura Walker of Tifton.
