She was predeceased by: her father Joe Mathis; and her daughter Connie Jo Wilkerson. She is survived by: her husband Michael Potts; her mother Lila Grace Tyson Mathis of Cordele; her children, Jessica Pickel of St. Louis, MO, Carolyn Powell Sams of Villa Rica, GA and Mark Powell of Myrtle Beach, SC; her sisters, Sandra Black of Cordele and Debra Beck of Cordele; and her granddaughters, Amber Powell and Lauren Pickel.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Animal Rescue Foundation.
