With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Amanda Gwendolyn Clark of Baldwin, Georgia, who passed away on October 11, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Simmons and Bessie Broome Simmons; her son Leroy Clark; her brothers, Amos, Guy, Illious and Edwin Simmons; her granddaughter Brandy Canup; and her children-in-law, Telford "Peanut" Hilland and Beryle M. Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Alton Clark of Alto, Cathy Clark of Baldwin and Merle Clark of Alto; her grandchildren, Mandy Moody (Jamie), David Clark, Bud Clark, Jake Clark, Dakota Clark, Debbie Moore, Melanie Blair and Curtis Burrell; her great grandchildren, Ryann Moody, Regann Moody and Colton Williams; and her sister Cathryne Rice of Cleveland. She is also survived by 13 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
