He is survived by: his mother Sandra Millar Thornton of Vada; his children, William Randall Thornton of Moultrie, Sandra Danielle Thornton of Pelham and Lauren Eugenia Thornton of Pelham; and his siblings, Matt Thornton of Pelham, Donna Odom of Pelham, Sheila Miller of Vada and Valerie Jones of Pelham. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
