He was predeceased by: his parents, Kedric Cornelius "Buster" McCranie and Lou Ellen Hunt McCranie; and his sister Louise Ard. He is survived by: his wife Nona H. McCranie; his children, Lynn and Rodney Heard; his sister Virginia Kitchengs of Bainbridge, GA; his brother-in-law Larry Daniels of Hawkinsville, GA; his grandchildren, Morgan, B. J. Johns, Melissa and Brad Lambert; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Trey, Hayleigh and Hayden. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
