He was predeceased by: his parents, Eager Drew Davis and Mattie Lou Dukes Davis. He is survived by: his wife Joy Deneice Davis; his children, Stephanie Morrell (Lucas) and Thomas Drew Davis, Jr.; his grandchildren, Robin Wurst, Allison "Allie" Morrell, Thomas Caydon Davis and Braylee Kyal Davis; and his sisters, Joyce Freeman and Joann Bailey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
