He was predeceased by: his siblings, Susan Heard and Carey Heard. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lee Heard; his daughter Ivy Lee Merriman (Brian) of Tallahassee, FL; his granddaughter Harper Lee; his brothers, Rodney Heard (Lynn), Dale Heard and Trent Heard (Penny); and his sister-in-law Delores Heard. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
