It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roma Cumbie (Bainbridge, Georgia), who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Daniel Avery and Edie Mae Norris Avery; her spouse Durward Cumbie; and her son-in-law Randall Foister. She is survived by: her brother S. C. Newberry; her daughters, Cheryll Brinkley (Cyrus) of Whigham and Debra Foister of Vada, Georgia; her sister Laverne Wilson of Climax, Georgia; her grandchildren, Heather Shiver (Cedric) of Vada, Garrett Foister of Vada and Dana Brinkley of Whigham; and her great grandchildren, Savannah Wilcox (Coleman), Christian Shiver, Bonnie Grace Shiver and Ralee Deann Shiver. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Out of an abundance of love and caution due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family has decided to hold a private graveside service.
