He is survived by: his children, April Spriggs (Merle) of Valdosta, Amy Scott (Charles) of Iron City, Joey Howard of Bainbridge and Melinda Howard (Travis Lashley) of Colquitt, Georgia; his brothers, Roy Howard of Bainbridge and Bobby Howard (Frankie) of Bainbridge; his grandchildren, Brittany Howard, Courtney Deaton, Megan Scott (Gary Roach), Joey Howard, Jr., Anthony Deaton and Philip Scott; and his great grandchildren, Noah Trawick, Alexis Deaton, Dalton Baynard, Jonah Baynard, Kyleigh Shellhouse, Faith Howard and Joey Howard, III.
