She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Patterson; and her husband Don Smith. She is survived by: her children, Kathy, Emory Smith, Michael and Janet Smith; her grandchildren, Heidi, Robert Smith, Joshua Higginbotham, Ashley and Troy Weed; her great grandchildren, Allie, Zach Preston, Elizabeth Gay and Mary Thomas Weed; and also, Annie Wilson, Shelonda Wilson, Tandra Jones, Emma Frazier, Nicka Shaw and Brenda Glaze.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private memorial service will be held at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stephen Webb officiating.
