Though Nettie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack King, Sr.; her parents, Dawson Norred and Bertha Stripling Norred; her sisters, Joyce Brown and Grace McElroy; and her granddaughter Brandy Whitaker.
She is survived by: her children, Steve King (Martha) of Bainbridge, Jack King, Jr. (Bo) of Bainbridge, Sonya Williamson (Tommy) of Climax and Telisa Hall (Larry) of Moultrie, Georgia; and her sister Mary Bridges of Brinson, Georgia. She is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
