It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Sutton Holton (Bainbridge, Georgia), born in Cairo, Georgia, who passed away on May 6, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sutton and Mildred Sutton; her husband James B. Holton; and her siblings, Bo Sutton and Minnadean Clayton.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Bryant Holton of Bainbridge, GA; her siblings, Betty Pritchett of Cairo, GA, Donna Gail Merritt of Moultrie, GA and Lawrence Sutton of Goose Creek, SC; and her granddaughter Ashley Nicole Holton of Athens, GA..
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private service will be held at a later date.
