She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Cecil Holloway and Ouida Ward Holloway; her spouse Norwood Williams; her son Al Murkerson, Sr.; and her siblings, Verbon Holloway, Marion Holloway, Jr. and Myra Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Norry Williams of Atlanta, Jerry, Cecilia Murkerson of Hawkinsville, Lindy Murkerson of Bainbridge, Gaye Murkerson of Albany, Georgia. and June Bryan of Albany, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Scott, Sharon Williams, Britt, Jill Williams, Laura, Josh Horne, Jay, Lesley Murkerson, Al, Jr., Amanda Murkerson, Dia, Chad Cooper, Heath, Anita Sandlin, Amber, Rodney Renfroe, Paxton, Stephanie Poitevint, Dax Bryan and Megan McClennon; her great grandchildren, Kylie, Bree, Hunter, Brandon, Tyler, Harley, Courtney, Chris, Maddox, Judson, Bryce, Jenny Grace, Ansley, Brooke, Addison, Kate, Connor and Katie; and her great great grandchildren, Freya, D. J., Nash, Navy and Landon.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (601 Chason St, Bainbridge, GA 39819). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
She was a member of the YMCA and volunteered at Regional Therapy and the Alzheimer's Caregivers Association.
