She was predeceased by: her parents, Graton Cosmo Gillespie and Mary Alta Edwards Gillespie; her husband Eddie Cleveland Poitevint; her son William Stacy Poitevint; her siblings, Darwin Edwards, Gerald Gillespie, William Gillespie, Earl Gillespie, Ronald Forehand, Evelyn Eubanks, Dorothy Turner, Louise Weiss and Callie Farrow; and her stepmother Blanche Gillespie.
She is survived by: her parent-in-law Eddie Cleveland Poitevint; her son Roger Poitevint (Jan) of Escanaba, MI; her grandchildren, Beth (Mike Lee), Amy Poitevint, Brian (Kelly Poitevint) and Adam (Dani Poitevint); her great grandchildren, Megan Lee, Stacy Lee, Austin Poitevint, Evan Poitevint, Dylan Poitevint, Chase Poitevint and Shyla Poitevint; and her siblings, Hilton Gillespie, Loette Buerger and Emily Sue Hickey.
