She was predeceased by: her parents, Evie Blackmon and George Blackmon; her husbands, Wilbur Patrick Shoupe and Frank Monroe Spooner; her brothers, Oscar Blackmon, Aubrey Blackmon and Charles Blackmon; and her half-sister Amie Lula Alday.
She is survived by: her son David Shoupe of Altha, FL; and her sister Violet Ray. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
