She was predeceased by: her parents, Jordan Nolen and Lucille Brown Nolen; her son Ronnie Sams; and her brother Harold Nolen. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ronald Sams, Jr. (R. J.), Kevin, Nellie Childree, William and Catalina Childree; and her great grandchildren, Aaron, Calvin, Addie and Aarow.
