It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Thomasson Malone (Bainbridge, Georgia), born in Carrollton, Georgia, who passed away on May 19, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank T. Thomasson and Kathleen M. Thomasson; her former husband William W. Mayfield; her brother Frank T. Thomasson, Jr.; her son William Curtis Malone; and her son-in-law Ronald Scherdin.
She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Dianne; her husband Thomas Steele Malone; and her children, Kathleen Mayfield Scherdin (Kay) of Havana, FL, William Wesley Mayfield (Genia) of Tallahassee, FL, Dianne Malone Lane (Lanier) of Bainbridge, GA, Thomas Steele Malone (Alice) of Havana, FL and Debra Smallwood Malone of McDonough, GA. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; and her ten great-grandchildren.
