She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tilton and Ada Hatcher Lynn; her husband Alec Loyd Poitevint; and her siblings, Willie Mae McCann, Idus Lynn, C. T. Lynn, Inez Powell, Thelma Floyd, Frank O. Lynn, Christal Lynn and Earnestine Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Alec Loyd Poitevint II (Doreen) of Bainbridge, GA and Lynn Poitevint Lee (George) of Tifton, GA; her granddaughters, Katie Poitevint Butte (Aaron), Meg Poitevint Lange (Andrew) and Melissa Lee Williams (Dan); and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Davie Butte, Tilton Lange and Sarah Beth. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
