We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Josephine Brockett Odom of Bainbridge, Georgia, born in Donalsonville, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brockett and Beatrice Key Brockett; her husband Starling Odom; her children, Ladon Odom and Teresa Jordan; her son-in-law Larry Avery; her siblings, James Brokett, Jack Brockett, Winston Brockett, Ernestine Fortner and Betty Shaw; and her grandson Robby.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Avery of Bainbridge, Patsy Rentz (Mark Parish) of Bainbridge and Alicia Cone (Rusty) of Attapulgus; her son-in-law Chris Jordan of Bainbridge; her siblings, Lois Shipley of Mexico Beach and Jimmie Brockett (BJ) of Saraland, AL; and her grandchildren, Sammy (Phylicia), Christy (David), Charlie (Chrissy), Chasity (Arthur), Russell (Lindsay), Katlin, Tenesha (Tony), Terrell, Ferrell, Mandi, Celisa (Buddy), Destiny and Ryan. She is also survived by her many great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
