He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Obie Cooper and Mary Weathers Cooper; his wife Peggy Whiddon Cooper of Bainbridge, GA; his son Dennis K. Cooper (Monique) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, John Cooper (Julia) and Emily Brinson (Kenny); and his great grandchildren, Bryson Cooper and Gavin Brinson. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
