It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hampton Willis Jr. of Bainbridge, Georgia, born in Norman Park, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hampton Willis and Ora Weaver Willis; his sister Betty Jean Snider; and his son-in-law Charles Jeffrey Parker. He is survived by: his wife Alice Warren Willis; his children, John (Jackie Willis) of Bainbridge, GA, Wayne (Julie Willis) of Bainbridge, GA, Denise Parker of Bainbridge, GA and Cindy (Woody Palmer); his siblings, Jeanette Dochterman of Ackworth, GA, Johnnie Maude Summerour, Jack (Joshetta Willis) and Shirley (Billy Gay); his grandchildren, Skyler (Hayley), Zach, Heath, Brannon, Peyton, Kristy (David), Misty (Ernie) and Kim (Will); and his great grandchildren, Emma, Trace, Camdyn, Eason, Christian, McKenzie and Ryan.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
