He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Claude Hughes and Mildred Glover Hughes; and his brother Burnie Glover Hughes. He is survived by: his children, Joel "Jody" Milburn Hughes, Jr. (Lisa) of Bainbridge and Sammie Faith Hughes (Bobby Inlow) of Crawfordville, FL; his siblings, Martha Hughes Palcowski of Longwood, FL and David (Elaine) of Tallahassee, FL; his grandchildren, Alex Hughes (Savannah) of Panama City, FL, Madison Hughes Flores (Adrian) of Williamsburg, VA and Libby Inlow of Crawfordville, FL; his great grandchildren, Finn Hughes and Baby Flores; and his pet Charlotte. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
