He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeff Spears and Frances Elizabeth Bane Spears; and his sister Jimmie Lee Spears. He is survived by: his siblings, Elcie Brown of Attapulgus, Jeanette Norris (Preston) of Bainbridge, Doris Spears Gay of Attapulgus, Carol Nelson (Dan) of Climax, Georgia and James Richard Spears (Cindy) of Bainbridge. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
