He is survived by: his parents, Hugh Francis McStay (Bud) and Karen Cox McStay of Bainbridge; his husband Justin McStay-Harrison; his sons, Augustus of Bainbridge and Simon of Bainbridge; his siblings, Heather McStay (Jackie Hall) of Tallahassee, Holly Paul (Chris) of Denham Springs, Elizabeth McStay of Bainbridge, Erin Williams (Randy) of Colquitt and Georgia; and his in-laws, John Harrison of Blairsville, Georgia and Teresa Dodson of Colquitt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Scott's memory to the Bainbridge-Decatur County YMCA, Pool Renovation fund, 1818 East Shotwell Street, Bainbridge, Georgia, 39819.
