He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelton D. Rogers and Martha Brooks Rogers; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Hurt, Jeanette King and Bud Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Gay (Larry) of Bainbridge and Russell Rogers (Shelly) of Jacksonville, Florida; his siblings, Roy Rogers (Katie) of Donalsonville, Thelma Haire (Wade) of Leesburg and Juanita Ingram of Griffin, Georgia; his grandchildren, Tara Meredith (John) of Thomasville, Tawna Saint, Damian Rogers of Jacksonville and Jessica Rogers of Jacksonville; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Abrie, Jackson, Lincoln and Callie Meredith. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
