She was predeceased by: her parents, Ranzy Brookins and Grace Knight Brookins; her husband Thomas Joiner; her son Gary Wayne Joiner; and her siblings, Herman L. Brookins, Hiram Brookins, Reuben Brookins, L. B. Brookins, Sam Brookins, Zytell Bush and Wynelle Holt.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Joiner (Julie) of Greenville, GA and Casandra Blackmon of Newnan, GA; her sister Norma Trawick of Iron City, GA; her grandchildren, Joshua Joiner (Brigette), Lauren Ramsey and Christopher Harris; and her great grandchildren, Jaiden Baum, Grayson Joiner, Kyndall Joiner, Addisyn Harris and Gracelyn Harris. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
