He was predeceased by: his father James Dempsey Glass; and his brother Billy Wayne Glass. He is survived by: his mother Queen Elizabeth Johnson Glass; his wife Susan Velinda Glass; his children, James E. Glass of Dallas, TX, Joseph Eugene Glass (Elaine) of Prairie Grove, AR, Angie Cleveland (Jeff) of Blakely, GA and Susan Melissa Glass (Jack) of Blakely, GA; his brother James Dempsey Glass (Norma) of Phoenix City, AL; and his grandchildren, Mathew Glass, Isaac Morrow, Kyla Glass, Abigail Young, James Alexander Glass (Carrie), Jonathon Andrew Glass, Dylan Michael Glass (Tonya), Harlie Danielle Battle (Cortez), James Blake Glass (Angel), Stephanie Williams (Austin), Jesse Cleveland, Gage Cleveland and Tucker Cleveland. He is also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside funeral service will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Robyn Brown officiating.
