It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Eleanor Jean Hodges of Bainbridge, Georgia, who passed away on September 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Seabourn Dauphin and Ruthie Pearl Simmons Dauphin; her husband Billy Joe Hodges; and her siblings, James H. Dauphin, Theresa Henderson and Foye Spears.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Monroe Hodges of Bainbridge, GA, Mary Jean, Wendell Parrish of Thomasville, GA and Janice Diane Turner of Donalsonville, GA; her sister Mary Cook of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Stacey (Julie), Tracey (Jennifer), Wendy (Jake) and Brandy (Terry); and her great grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Brayden, Nicholas, Angel, Abby, Mason, Jordan and Dylan.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
