He is survived by: his children, Edwin Jess Gilstrap of Greensboro, Jacob Gilstrap (Rainey) of Bainbridge and Damon Gilstrap (Casey) of Quincy, Florida; his brother Bobby Gilstrap of Jasper, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Sophia Gilstrap, Xander Gilstrap, Alex Gilstrap, Olan Gilstrap, Haylee Hernandez, Piper Cook and Karson Cook. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
