She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Salter and Temptie Thompson Salter; her granddaughter Marla Kim Brock; her daughter-in-law Cathy Harris Brock; and her siblings, Spencer Salter, William Salter, Mildred McNair and Nathan Salter.
She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Charles Earnest Brock (Alice) of Bainbridge, Willard Brock (Marjorie) of Bainbridge, Earl Brock (Kim) of Whigham, Georgia and Jane Tye (Wayne) of Chattahoochee, Florida; her grandchildren, Charles Brock, Jr. (Jennifer), Amanda Rentz (Adam), Carly Brock, David Brock, Dana Rhodes (Alex), Kent Brock, Kim Moore (Chris), Elizabeth Scott (Jeremy), Lacey Tye, Nelda Strickland (Marcus), Candace Shurrum (Mark) and Leslie Tatum (Joe); and her brothers, J. D. Salter and Joe Salter. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
