He was predeceased by: his parents, David Elijah Griffin and Estelle Kelly Griffin; his sons, Rex and Mack Griffin; and his siblings, Marshall Griffin, Margaret Harden, Cupid Hagen, Sybil Mills and Doris Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Lambert Griffin of Bainbridge; his daughters, Sheila Floyd (Len) of Bainbridge, Kathy Vickers of Anchorage, Alaska and Angie Day of Headland, Alabama; his sisters, Nell Lane of Iron City and Zella O'Quinn of Brunswick, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Wesley Roland, Brandon Vickers, Russell Floyd, Eric Floyd, Becky Wilson and Laci Grove. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
Due to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to wear protective masks and social distance in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
