He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ollie Hutto and Mary Jane Bennett Hutto; his wife Myra Hamrick Hutto; and his siblings, Cora Martin, Sarah Rathel, Grace Bodiford, Vera Cantley, Bill Hutto, Odie Allen, Mattie Rathel, Betty Glass, Homer Hutto, R. B. Kelly, Hershel Hutto and Cathleen Kelly.
He is survived by: his children, Dorenda (Tony Miller), Robert (Sherri Rollins), Brenda (Joey Stogner) and Debbie (Eddie Cannon); and his sister Ruby Rathel of Colquitt, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
