He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis Henry Schilb and Virginia Gottron Schilb; his children, Little Doug, Peightyn of Brinson, Georgia and Heather Lara Sheffield; his grandchildren, Kaylie Elizabeth Boyett and Jaidyn Grace Boyett; his son Douglas Schilb of Tallahassee, Florida; and his fiancée Rita Logue. He was also cherished by siblings, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
