Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Dorothy Martin of Bainbridge, Georgia, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 95, on August 19, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Mock and Annie McGuffin Mock; her husband Haywood Martin; and her brother Joseph Mock. She is survived by: her children, Bruce H., Kathy Martin of Bainbridge, GA, Carol Sumrall of Meridian, MS, Angie and Mike Slater of Howey; her sisters-in-law, Rita Mock and Dorothy Jean Morris; and her grandchildren, Austin (Shelley), Hope (George), Wesley (Kyobi), Allison (Clint), Eric (Mikaela), Christopher, Brent (Lisa), Nicki (Dustin) and Tisha. She is also survived by her sixteen great-grandchildren and her one great-great-grandchild.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
