With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Gleaton (Bainbridge, Georgia), born in Decatur, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Lee Boyett and Irene Griffin Boyett; her husband George Gleaton; and her siblings, Lanelle Mirick, Elmer Boyett, Willis Boyett and George Boyett (Tink).

She is survived by: her daughters, Grace Laing (Charlie) of Climax, GA. and Theresa Barwick of Havana, FL.; her brother Don Elliott (Carolyn) of Bainbridge; her granddaughter Lisa Green (Nick) of Climax; her great grandchildren, David Harrell, Logan Harrell and Dawson Green; and her great great grandchildren, Kia and Liam. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
