He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Dodson and Odeline Green Dodson; and his brother Eddie Dodson. He is survived by: his children, Russell Dodson of Bainbridge, GA and Tina Dodson Baggett of Thomasville, GA; and his sister Cynthia Avery of Vada, GA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
