He was predeceased by: his father Hubert Mills; and his brother William Mills. He is survived by: his mother Martha Lee Owens Mills; his wife Tonya Mills; his children, Starrissa Mugg (Lt), Col. Patrick Mugg of Fayetteville, NC, Clifford Owen Mills II of Mount Airy, NC and Courtney Mills of Bainbridge, GA; his stepfather L. D. Miller; his siblings, Kathy Gilder (Irby) of Catuala, GA, Kay Cothren (Jack) of Albany, GA and Tawanna Drake (Jimmy) of Donalsonville, GA; and his granddaughter Sierra. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
