He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ransom Emanuel and Evelyn Emanuel Pullins; his grandson Alfred Smith; his siblings, Espy, Bo, Garfield, George, Alfred and Grace; his wife Dollie Brown Emanuel; his children, Retivera Hughes, Charlie Emanuel, Jr., Dolisha Mitchell (Jarryd), Sophia Smith, Stephens Lewis (Malody) and Tammie Shaw; his grandchildren, Timothy Shaw, Jr. (Sha), Trevon Shaw, Retivera Smith, LaRosa Moore, Cheryl Moore, Charlie Emanuel III, Aaron Emanuel, Joshua Emanuel, Justus Emanuel, Seth Emanuel, Damion Hughes and Tashona Gordon; and his sisters, Laura, Christine, Shirley and Linda. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
