He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynwood Everette Newsome and Jeanette Edison Newsome; and his sister Wendy Kay Newsome Bryan. He is survived by: his siblings, Lynwood Everette Newsome, Jr. (Eddie), Debra Williams of Colquitt, Georgia, Teresa Crosson (Marion) of Whigham and Rose Lee Newsome (Lee) of Bainbridge. He is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
