It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Faye Jones of Bainbridge, Georgia, born in Valdosta, Georgia, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Levi Griffis and Estey Griffis; her husband James Marvin Jones; her siblings, Emory Levi Griffis and Helen Griffis Bailey; and her great grandchild Koda Winter Haley.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Rena Chase (Danny) of Maryville, TN and Lisa Gayle Spencer (Michael) of Gaffney, SC; her grandchildren, Matthew W. McIntosh, Jacob J. McIntosh (Brittney), Jonathan L. McIntosh (Monique), Natalie J. Martin (Brandon) and Sarah A. Haley (Benjamin); and her sister-in-law Linda C Jarrell (Ron). She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
