He was predeceased by: his parents, Jutson Lee Johnson and Inez Golden Johnson; his children, Joye Spooner Jones and Jesse Perry Spooner, Jr.; and his siblings, Willie Johnson, Franklin Johnson, Bobbie Joe Hatcher, Katie Fowler and Paul Ed Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise Temples Johnson of Attapulgus, Georgia; his children, Wallace Johnson of Tifton, Lynwood Spooner (Diane) of Morriston and H. L. Spooner (Ginger) of Bainbridge; his sister Joyce Coonrod (George) of Kingsland, Georgia; his grandchildren, Karlyn Jane Johnson of Newton, Mason Johnson of Leesburg, Matthew Johnson of Leesburg, Haley Logue (Randy) of Bainbridge, Ashley Perez (Kenny) of Leesburg, Amanda Noegel (Louie) of Worthington Springs, Lynwood Spooner, Jr. (Stephanie) of Wade, Justin Spooner (Brandy) of Climax and John Spooner of Bainbridge; his great grandchildren, Katie Marsh (Garrett), Layla Noegel, Paisley Noegel, Tegan Spooner, Ryan Logue, Caleb Logue, Noah Perez and Ty Autry; and his great great grandchildren, Hunter Lynn Marsh and Tucker Marsh. He is also survived by his family and many, many friends.
