It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Hardy in Bainbridge, Georgia, born in Mound City, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles DeVore and Louise Monan DeVore; her son David Taylor; and her brother Aubrey DeVore. She is survived by: her children, James Taylor, Jr., Sherma Taylor and Marvin J. Taylor; and her siblings, Robert, Alice and Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held later, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, in Summerdale, Alabama.
