He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan McLaurin Ramsey and Mazie Olive Rich Ramsey; his wife Zoy; his daughter Janet; and his son-in-law David R. Cooper.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy R. Perkins; his nieces and nephews, Cary Perkins and David Perkins (Lisa); his daughter Lisa R. Stokes (Patrick); his grandchildren, Lacey Hinson (Joey), Taylor Stokes (Corinne) and Hayley Lewallen (Kevin); and his children, Thomas "Tom" Allan Ramsey (Elizabeth), Laurin Ramsey (Justin Roeland), Kate Pritchett (Taylor), Michael "Mike" King Ramsey (Michele), Megan, Matthew Ramsey, Dina R. Cooper (David), James "Jim" David Ramsey (Victoria), Nick Ramsey (CeCi), Jake and Ella Ramsey. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; as well as a host of extended family members and friends.
