She was predeceased by: her parents, Green Jackson Shiver and Leacy Luke Shiver; and her husband Robert Kirkland. She is survived by: her daughter Carrie Dean Lawson (Elmer) of Baconton; her stepson Thomas Kirkland; her sister Linda Holland; her grandchildren, Autum Roupe, Keirstin Lawson (James Reynolds), Bradley Lawson (Moquita), Derrick Lawson (Mandy), Heather Jarnigan (Amanda), Dale Jarnigan, Joseph Arline and Daquan Strong; and her great grandchild Austin Bell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home (410 E Broad St, Camilla, GA 31730). A graveside service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Tift Memorial Gardens (1754 US-82, Tifton, GA 31794).
